One week. One cause. Why children’s hospitals need your support.

One week. One great cause. Ten million kids.

Children’s Hospitals Week is all about helping kids and ensuring children’s hospitals have the funds they need to care for more than 10 million kids a year. Health insurers and government payers often don’t cover the entire cost of delivering care. Community support and donations help us ensure the best care for all children.

Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

Your donation matters. Every minute, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provide $6,500 to help save kids’ lives. Donations stay local to fund critical treatments and health care services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care.

To shine a light on the importance of children’s hospitals and how donations help kids get the best care when they need it, TMC for Children is pleased to participate in the third annual #ChildrensHospitalsWeek, scheduled for March 18-22, 2019.

Did you know?

Every day children’s hospitals treat:

-16,200 kids with trauma

– 935 kids for diabetes

– 925 babies in the NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit)

In North America, 1 in 10 children are treated by a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital each year.
